Vanessa Mack is a lifelong resident of New Haven where she attended public schools. Upon completing high school, she attended Springfield College where she received both her bachelors degree and Masters in Social Work and also played volleyball collegiately for 2 years. She is the Founder/Director of Pure Passion Volleyball, a club designed to mentor and train young ladies about the sport while developing the next generation of leaders. Vanessa was the head coach at Albertus Magnus College, a division III college in New Haven since 2014-2020. Vanessa has over 10 years of coaching experience. She was the assistant coach at Bay Path College in 2010-2011, helping the Wildcats build the strength of their program over two seasons. Additionally, she coached and trained athletes from the New Haven Juniors club. 

Vanessa is a Hyde Leadership Academy graduate where she led them to both conference and state tournament appearances. In 2005 she was named a second team all state selection and a first team all state honors in 2006 as a setter.

Vanessa specializes in training and improving the mindset of the athletes. She also strongly believes and emphasizes training the whole athlete in mind/body/spirit to prepare them for the real world.
